Wait! Wait. Wait....?

Confessions of a student with a 6 hour break between classes.

Sometimes people are smart and plan their schedules so that they have a reasonable amount of time between classes. For the last 3 years, I've been one of those people. However, due to what's been labeled as a "user error" (which is not the case, cause I'm seriously not that stupid), I had to throw two extra courses into my semester.

Now, my 50 min astronomy class at noon has been wonderful, and it fit into my time table super well, it's my senior psych that happens at 6pm that's the problem. Night classes on their own are a drag, but it's the waiting for the drag that really makes me feel like the laziest person ever.

At the beginning of the semester, my thought process was that I'd use this time to work out, get projects done early, and perhaps some creative ideas started.

This has not been the case.

For the first three weeks, my routine worked splendidly - I was ahead of time, I was slowly getting back in shape, and I felt productive. But what do you do when the projects run out?

I:
Upped my work out times from 1 hour to 2.5, throwing in some extra weight work.
Started reading more.
Began writing full chapters of my future hit Sci-Fi book.
Organized my pictures.
Started to swim.

Now, here I am, 2 weeks away from finishing my classes, 5 weeks away from finishing my degree, and what are my Mondays full of?

Working out
Writing poems
Creeping facebook
Creeping Google+
Making up fake online dating profiles
People watching
Youtube
Youtube
Youtube
Minecraft
Watching Youtube videos about minecraft

The student life cycle accounts for the fatigue and stress put on us by school, displaying the significant energy declines as clear as the sun does rise. For years I've fought with it. But now my energy is taken, not by school work, but by building floating castles, lighthouses and sharks, and fooling the desperate masses into thinking I'm a professional artist/surfer/chef/carpenter/race car driver/model/astronaut.

Pre exam slump, meet my poor youtube induced posture.
